Recently I had a baby shower at work - the Narconon staff were so generous and wonderful and my baby got all that she will need. My coworkers put this kind of generosity and effort into all they do. It is evident to me that these are the kindest, most dedicated people on the planet!

Solve the Drug Problem

I received a letter this week from a graduate of our program around September of 2004. He wrote in to say that he is doing great and working for a Narconon in Florida. He is clean now and he is helping others get clean. That is the type of thing that will help us solve the drug problem throughout the world. If everyone we helped here at Narconon went out and helped one other person get clean, then we would have the drug problem whipped!

Ethical Students

I have been helping out in the Ethics Department at Narconon recently due to our overload of students going through the program that need help especially in that area of their lives. I have been able to lend them a hand and I have gained further reality on what an individual needs to receive help. A lot of folks have trouble letting go of old behaviors and attitudes; it comes with the territory of addiction. So, to help these addicts, a person needs to understand that they cannot be forced into help or a pro-survival pattern of behavior. You have to help them to want it themselves. And in working with some of these guys this past week, I have seen that they switch from apathy to the need and want for something better. Then, a person can see that desire re-light in someone's eyes and all the effort is worth it. It can be a long road to travel with someone, but the end result of a drug free, productive person is unrivaled.

Expecting Mother

I feel that even though I'm 7 months pregnant and experiencing all of the physical restrictions and emotional ups and downs from this, I am helping people more than ever. I am running the graduate office at Narconon Arrowhead and I run across so many successful people and can draw from so many sources to help them be successful. All of the slings and arrows of drug addiction and the miracles and joys of life have prepared me to be this caring staff member, anxious mother, and overall good person is changing the course the world is on. All this is because once upon a time I decided to get clean from addiction and go through the Narconon Rehabilitation Program.

Turn Your Life Around

This week I helped 4 individuals get into our rehabilitation program. Some of these people put off coming to get help at Narconon Arrowhead and realized that this is the right place for them. I can't express how amazing it is to witness someone make the turn around and start handling their life's problems again.

I happen to work with the best people in the world. Every staff member here is so positive and on task with solving the drug problem and since Narconon Arrowhead is the largest residental drug rehab in the U.S., you can just imagine how many friends I am surrounded by each day at work. It takes a pretty amazing bunch to help people fight their addictions and have the success rate that we have.

Addicts helping Addicts

Graduate referrals that were sent in this past week were the highest every we've seen!! This means that 31 people were referred to Narconon Arrowhead by graduates that have already been through our program successfully. This illustrates the power of our program. We have not only the power to help someone get clean from drugs and alcohol, but we also turn his whole life around to the point where he wants to help other people get the same gains in life!

96% satisfied

Recently my department conducted a survey of some of the graduates of the Narconon Arrowhead program and their families from about 6 months ago. One of the discoveries of the survey was that of the 50 graduates we surveyed, 96% were satisfied with the results of the program. Of the 61 family members, 82% were satisfied. This further shows that we really are reaching people... We really are helping to solve the problem of addiction for many people out there.

Baby Girl

I recently found out that my husband and I are having a baby girl. This wouldn't be possible if I never got help from the Narconon rehab program many years ago. This baby is a miracle and is coming into a very positive and healthy environment.

When you see the look on someone's face because he or she personally helped another realized somehting about their life and drug addiction and you see the glow that one gets from making a difference, you can't do more than smile and share in that win!

A Testament

I just wanted to drop a quick not about the success rate of the graduates of Narconon Arrowhead Drug Rehabilitation and Education Program. Over the past 15 weeks the trend of graduates doing well has steadily increased.

Our promotion states a success rate of approximately 70% for our graduates, and it's true. I see and hear it first-hand. Over the past 8 weeks the success rate was held above 75% and it is increasing!

There are a lot of staff who work hard to make these numbers real and it is a testament to their dedication to helping people live drug-free lives and how well the technology works here!

1 year drug free

It seems like the longer I work at Narconon Arrowhead, the more I learn of the great technology that saves so many people's lives on a daily basis. I just passed my one year mark on staff here and I decided to look back at how many lives I have changed since mine changed myself. I have helped over 300 graduates re-acclimate back into society and have personally brought in over 20 or so persons needing help and getting them back on the program. The point is, I have been able to help all these people because of things I learned here when I myself was getting off drugs. So, not only did it save my life, but it has helped me give back.

Recoveries

As of today, the success office here at Narconon has had 4 recoveries in the door. Recoveries are people who have left our rehabilitation program and then decided to come back to finish. This is a highest ever for my office! We are cleaning up our guys that need more help and ensuring that they can get the assistance they need so they can survive as sober individuals in this world.

This past week we contacted about 100 graduates of the Narconon Arrowhead Drug Rehabilitation and Education Program as well as their families to see how they were doing. Nearly 80% of the graduates are clean and doing very well in life. What on Earth could be cooler than having contributed to that many lives saved?!

Living Again

Everyon can find their job hectic at times, but how many can take a step back and look at the fact that they are helping people to live again? Saving someone from drug addiction through effective an effective rehab center like Narconon Arrowhead is freeing that person from the bonds of slavery.

For every person I help to graduate from the Narconon Arrowhead Program, I know that I'm one step closer to freeing this world from drugs!

Here is a success story that one of our recent graduates wrote after completing our drug rehabilitation program:

"About ten years ago I started using drugs. Since then I have overcome a lot of obstacles, or so I thought. Friends told me I could be so much more if I got off drugs, but I didn't see that.

Ten years later I see the light. Now I realize they were right. I couldn't stop using drugs until I came to Narconon.

I myself have benefited from the Narconon program. But the coolest thing to see is my associates who are leading productive, fabulous lives because they too have benefited from it. And on top of that, every day I come into work, I see students of their rehabilitation program solving their addictions and growing into healthy people. How much more rewarding of a job can one have?

Belated Christmas Present

My job at Narconon Arrowhead often puts me on the receiving end of thanks and gratitude from graduates and families. This week, I recieved a late Christmas/New Years's card from a mother who thanked all the staff for helping her son. It dawned on me that people think of Narconon and what we do in this light year around. We do all that we can to solve the problem of addiction!

Former addicts helping addicts

In the past two years Narconon Arrowhead has graduated over 600 individuals from its effective drug rehabilitation and education program.

My department gets to keep in contact with those grads and hear their successes as well as help them through problems. I see a good deal of these people turning around and helping other addicts get the help they so desparately need. What better proof of that true rehabilitation actually took place!

Life is Good

Being able to speak with just one graduate of the Narconon Arrowhead program brings me a lot of joy. There is nothing more hopeful than watching a guy repair damage with his family, be trusted again by his parents, loved by his kids and friends, and get back to a job he loves. It's what life is all about. There really is a solution to drug addiction.

As the Director of Success at Narconon Arrowhead, one of my jobs is graduate follow-up and support. Each week we survey our graduates and their families and this past week 80% of the graduates surveyed were drug-free and doing well!

That's what we're all doing here and it is so rewarding to see all of the hard work the staff members put in work so well at helping people overcome addiction through our effective drug rehabilitation program.

As the Director of Success, it's my job to make sure my department contacts as many graduates of the program as possible (up to two years past) each week. This past week, we talked with 70 graduates and/or their families and 77% of them are doing great and staying clean! Addiction is hard to overcome, but we recieved a great response this past week. And the cool part is, that is an average percentage!

In my time working at Narconon Arrowhead, I've witnessed a lot of drastic changes in people. I've watched these people graduate and do extremely well when going back home. There is no greater moment than one like what happened this week. A grad called and asked for info on how he could learn more of our technology, because he was promoted to District Mananger in his company and wanted to run things the right way. Success starts with a positive attitude and that starts with getting yourself back to your normal condition. Drug rehabilitation is a key issue here and I love knowing that they walk away with information that they will use for the rest of their life.
